Whether you choose religious or civil, the choice of ceremony is not of your choice. The ceremony you have is the same as everyone else’s (give or take some small details).

Actually – there is another choice. By booking a Celebrant for your service, you can have the vows you want, the music you want, the readings you want. You can have as much or as little religious content as you wish. If you and your partner are of different religions, you can have a blend from your different beliefs.

Cherish Ceremonies will work with you to write a unique ceremony that you and your guests will remember for always. You can have your favourite poems or readings included. Your guests can do a reading, or your celebrant can read them for you.

Whether your taste is traditional or modern, quirky or romantic, we can write the service reflecting your personalities and your love for one another.

We can include beautiful symbolism within your marriage ceremony to make it truly unique. For example, the Unity Candle; the Rose Ceremony; the Loving Cup or even a Handfasting can be included for no extra cost.

If you have children, we can incorporate different elements to include them in your ceremony as your families join to become one.
